He didnt say MJ > Kobe. He just said Jordan would win one on one because of his larger hands. Not a big story considering they are the two best one on one players ever. I always thought that game would go either way.

To me the more interesting thing was the story beforehand. The fact a 20 year old Kobe would go up to Jordan in 99 and the first words he said was you know I could kick your ass one on one. That is why Jordan respects Kobe. Both are true alpha males. Bron is too beta to be in their class.

He didnt say MJ > Kobe. .
Yes he did.. He just didn't say it in this clip....

While Jackson coached, he often jabbed at Bryant's seemingly annual appearance on the NBA's All-Defensive team. Now we know why.

"No question, Michael was a tougher, more intimidating defender. He could break through virtually any screen and shut down almost any player with his intense, laser-focused style of defense," said Jackson, who coached Jordan to six championships and Bryant to five.

"Kobe has learned a lot from studying Michael's tricks, and we often used him as our secret weapon on defense when we needed to turn the direction of a game. In general, Kobe tends to rely more heavily on his flexibility and craftiness, but he takes a lot of gambles on defense and sometimes pays the price."

I was simply talking about that clip not that he never said it. Plus there is no shame to not being better than Jordan. Every other player in NBA history is also included in that group.

Kobe is one of the greatest but Jordan is the GOAT, only person who has an argument is Kareem, Kobe nor LeBron come close to MJ All-Time but LBJ can get closer due to him still being in his prime.
