I get it you don't like anything that takes you into another frame of mind but, everyone isn't like you. People are going to do what they want regardless of it being legal or illegal. Ever heard of alcohol prohibition which increased crime.

The point of a free society is that you deal with people doing things you might not agree with, as long as these things aren't hurting people who choose not to do them. It's called tolerance. You don't lock them up because you don't like it. If you don't like to see people with red eyes, change your friends.
