They did. His mom was holding him back and he brushed her aside. He came off the porch. The problem is the police get called to these domestic disturbances and shyt goes left real quick when someone is on drugs or mentally ill. The police need more training for these situations but someone unstable with a knife will hardly ever end right.

And y'all need to realize with those ideas of leg shots or warning shots that shyt ain't real life. Police officers aren't snipers and discharging their firearm can be dangerous PERIOD because if y'all didnt know in the Rayshard Brooks case the officers fired rounds into someones car in the parking lot which could've killed that person too. The officer in the Breonna Taylor case fired shots that went into her ceiling and through the floor of her upstairs neighbor apartment so I don't know how folks think they gonna hit someone only in the arm.

We ain't gonna know the real story unless the full bodycam recording gets released though.
