I never found a proper cheesesteak in DC. Sometimes in a pinch I'd grab a "steak and cheese" from a carry out but that was kinda hit or miss. I think a lot of those carry outs were using Safeway brand hoagie rolls

Yup dellasandros may be far for tourist but take that hike up there and then hit up Main Street at night manyauk for a mix crowd
