No hate but serious question...why are y'all so happy about the draft? Like what the hell is Okafor or Towns supposed to do if y'all draft them? It's gonna take them dudes time (years) to even develop in the triangle system (and that's assuming they pan out to be more decent) and Melo is only gonna get older. Why not try and trade that pick to the Celtics for Rondo or to the Suns for Dragic? Then when the off-season comes, throw everything you can at Gasol?

But being excited about a draft pick seems weird as fukk because y'all are NOT rebuilding with Melo still on the squad, lol.

No one is happy about anything. The point is tanking will be the best possible outcome going forward. Whatever moves we make will, in all likelihood, come short of putting a championship contender on the court for the next couple years at the very least. Might as well set ourselves up for the future.

He's still growing into an NBA frame too, if the Knicks can get another 1st rounder (Timmy, Shump) ... They need to get this guy.

Cap space and draft picks are what keep teams relevant in this league
