These are actually good signs imo. Change is good(especially from what we had)...at the end of the day Carmelo's either going to look himself in the mirror and grow up or he's not. Phil's building this whether Carmelo likes it or not. If Melo doesnt want to buy in he can fake an injury or whatever and sit.

Unless of course Dolan gets pissed and fires Phil(which is always possible)

Knicks have a chance to win tonight.

No Mills, Duncan, Ginobili, Parker, Leonard, and possibly Splitter.

So in other words. Spurs don't have their starting lineup tonight. :wow:

Joseph/Green/Belinelli/Diaw/Bonner/Baynes/Ayres/Anderson/Daye is all they got :pacspit:

Popovich trying to thwart our tank. :beli:

Either that or he's sure his bench can beat our starters. :beli:

Either way I'm sure the Knicks will find a way to pull out this L. Nothing is stopping this tank. :youngsabo:

I hope that story about Hardaway and Melo isn't true, and considering it's "Mr. Sources" reporting it very well may be made up, but if so then I'm a bit disappointed.
Melo has looked disengaged since the beginning of the season (especially on the defensive end) and it definitely looks like he's not giving the same type of effort this year that he gave last year. I don't want to completely shyt on Melo, I know he's been injured too and he's playing through it ( which is commendable), and I can chalk up his reaction to Timmy as just frustration being let loose, but if your teammate see's you half-assing it when they're trying, then they have a right to call you out on it. Tim may suck on defense too, but it's not due to effort, because the bul is a livewire, he just has terrible defensive instincts.

We should trade melo for whatever we can get. I'm convinced we will never win with him

I know I remember saying that it was better off just letting him walk away. Dude is in his decline getting paid max money.
I'm not so sure about that. He had arguably his best two seasons the previous two years. I think he's just coasting this year because he knows the team is going no where regardless. He's embraced the tank as well in my opinion. His game isn't based on his athleticism so his output shouldn't change too much in the next several years. Whether he was ever good enough to lead is an entirely different question.
