Great idea. But it just looks cheap I dunno. Don't like the overall design.

I saw this the other day. It's a really great idea, but I don't see it happening. What parts manufacturer with any weight is going to willingly let the consumer directly decide if they use all their product, or if they have to work well with another manufacturer's?
