That wasn't that bad. I was watching old railroad videos from the 60s and one of the things I noticed was the old junked cars everywhere.

My dad told me when he was a kid that the Steel Mills in Pittsburgh spewed so much pollution that it it left the whole area dirty as fukk. He said they lived about 20 miles from the nearest Steel Mills. When they would wake up in the morning to go to school the cars would be covered in dust. :wtf:

As a kid growing up in the 80's almost all of the Steel Mills were closed by that time. But I would see the plants just sitting there. I would always wonder why you never saw anyone fishing out of the three rivers downtown. That pollution had the rivers still fukked up decades later :damn:
