I remember hearing about this ish throughout all of 7th and 8th grade. Then in 9th grade around 2003, it was finally dubbed but not readily available except in select stores. Watching this ish was epic. It tied all of Dragon Ball up to that point together. Goku finally growing up, finally winning the coveted World Martial Arts Tournament, and finally becoming the undisputed strongest person in the world after displaying so much potential years earlier. It's kind of like when Lebron won his first ring. Not to mention the amazing fights like Goku vs Tien, Tien vs Mercenary Tao as a freaking cyborg, and of course the blockbuster Goku vs. Piccolo.
