Wade's the better player...by a pretty large margin...whether he's the better "#2", depends mainly on how he holds up as he ages...in the first two years that the Big 3 have been together...one year it'd be even be unfair to call him a "#2" or a "complimentary piece", him and bron were something more approaching 1a and 1b...and outplayed Bron in the Finals (they'd likely be completing a 3peat this year had the
#1 decided to show up)....last year the narrative was about how bad Wade was in the playoffs, and he still had a better playoff run than pretty much Pippen's entire stint as a Bull...
So if it were just about who's the better player, I don' think there's really a discussion to be had...Wade's older than Bron though, so age becomes a factor going forward...scotty was younger than MJ and that goes a long ways towards them winning 6 ships together...Wade seems to be hampered by injury or something this year and who knows how it unfolds down the line...might not matter though cause the heat also have a "#3" that's the ideal "#2" in most situations who's younger than Wade and can step up in the future depending how things play out
And an as aside, it's fukked up that Wade's legacy is likely gonna end up being largely defined as simply Bron's "#2"...all things considered
