I think it's time this thread is finally made. We've heard the MJ/ Bron comparison ad nauseum so its only natural that this comparison is made. A lot is made about Lebron needing "help" to win a title but what about MJ's?? Both Wade & Pippen get their fair share of love/hate because of the bigger star they've played alongside. Both have similar career numbers besides PPG which Wade takes by a significant amount. They're both great defenders but Pippen would get the edge in that regard. Without either duo it would've been difficult for either MJ or Bron to win a title..... so who's the better #2 ?

I think it's much closer than people think.. People forget about the '93-'94 Bulls. Pippen & the Bulls only dropped two games without Jordan (roster resembled the '07 Cavaliers) and possibly would have gone to the Finals had they not been screwed by a bogus foul call.

:ehh:

I'd have to agree with this even though Pippen is ten times the man than that bytchass wannabe flopping fashionista

what kind of man throws a hissy fit and refuses to go into a game because a play wasn't called for him?:beli:

also, didn't pippen used to shyt himself at the sight of the bad boy pistons and the new york knicks? rodman used to bully this nikka relentlessly and he'd always cower at the sight of xavier mcdaniel, charles oakley and anthony mason

say what you will about wade's fashion choices or flopping, he's never backed down from or shown fear of any player, ever.

Wade's the better player...by a pretty large margin...whether he's the better "#2", depends mainly on how he holds up as he ages...in the first two years that the Big 3 have been together...one year it'd be even be unfair to call him a "#2" or a "complimentary piece", him and bron were something more approaching 1a and 1b...and outplayed Bron in the Finals (they'd likely be completing a 3peat this year had the #1 decided to show up)....last year the narrative was about how bad Wade was in the playoffs, and he still had a better playoff run than pretty much Pippen's entire stint as a Bull...

So if it were just about who's the better player, I don' think there's really a discussion to be had...Wade's older than Bron though, so age becomes a factor going forward...scotty was younger than MJ and that goes a long ways towards them winning 6 ships together...Wade seems to be hampered by injury or something this year and who knows how it unfolds down the line...might not matter though cause the heat also have a "#3" that's the ideal "#2" in most situations who's younger than Wade and can step up in the future depending how things play out

And an as aside, it's fukked up that Wade's legacy is likely gonna end up being largely defined as simply Bron's "#2"...all things considered

:what: a 3x championship roster that added toni kukoc and steve kerr resembled the 07 cavs? :comeon: that team had 2 all stars besides pippen
