I dont know that I'd put him over Hondo, who won championships with two different iterations of the C's, was a demonstrably better defender than Pierce, had a greater all-around game than Pierce, and played at a level in the '69 Finals than Pierce ever reached...

Go back and look at the rosters Paul Pierce played on vs the rosters of his all star wing peers. Kobe, Wade, Melo, Carter, T-Mac, Allen and Iverson all had better supporting cast than Pierce. Freaking T Mac had Yao Ming for crying out loud while Pierce had Mark Blount smdh. Vince Carter had J Kidd and RJ while Pierce had Wally Sczbeiak and Ricky Davis smdh.
