I was going to make a thread about this today, but saw this thread, crazy how coincidences happen.
I work part time in the medical field at a major hospital.
2 year old girl came in tonight as a trauma alert for guess what?
That’s right, family pit bull attacked her out of nowhere and grabbed her by the throat and face, she was blessed her dad was strong enough to get the pit off.
Mother told me they had the pit for 6 years with no problem and tonight he just “went crazy”
Said her daughter didn’t provoke the dog or anything she just sat down by her father and the dog just went into protection mode
She was blessed they got her to the hospital in time, she is expected to make a full recovery but her face and neck
Mom told me the dog has to go. Not sure how dad feels about it, didn’t get a chance to talk to him.
I owned a full blooded pit at one time but I gave him up for adoption as soon as I got married and had a kid.
Coming from a previous pit bull owner, leave these pits the fuuuuk alone. They are to unpredictable!!!
