song had me hype for the album...thought it would match that song....nope...album was forgettable outside that track

One of their best songs is actually not even a Premier joint. "Good Times" could have got some major burn with the right promotion. Radio friendly but still dope and had a positive message.
But back to the original topic, always felt the same way about this track. I first heard it on Future Flavas months before it officially dropped and Marley Marl would always tease just a snippet of it and I think a brief clip of it on the Future Flavas website.
Definitely one of his best mid-2000s beat.

this song is significant for the intro because primo was the first to use that caldera sample. An obscure fusion group takes some serious digging to even find, that album sky islands hadn’t been re issued or anything. Them first few seconds are beautiful. Other people used it after him, but primo had that sample first and took that for a perfect intro
