NE is a fiscal train wreck and the weather is awful
West Coast has similar problems and the vibe in the PNW is WEIRD
Obviously the rust belt is trash (sorry)

Only other place I could see myself is maybe Texas/Phoenix but that heat is crazy

only thing you wont have your boys and family but with this global telecom village we are in, that shouldnt be a problem.

I've already lived in Texas, Georgia, Virgina, Alabama, Ohio, and Florida. One thing every place has in common is some of the people say they'd never leave to move somewhere else and some say they can't to leave and move somewhere else. But It's all the same outside of a few local eccentricities. ie; people over here like meixcan food and say i know huh after every sentence, people over there like white pizza and say forreal tho alot. etc

I can live anywhere that has a thriving economy, diversity, lots of jobs and a positive atmosphere.

with that being said I could never see myself living in Mississippi or West Virginia.

I’d include Louisiana and South Carolina also but Charleston and New Orleans (2 of my favorite cities) are located in each state.
