Plans For More Network Specials Including The Slammy

According to The Wrestling Observer, WWE has been discussing the idea of holding the Slammy Awards as its own standalone show instead of having them held during an episode of Raw.

If WWE does go through with the idea, they would rent a smaller theater type venue, as opposed to an arena, and air the show as a WWE Network special.

In related news, the current plan in WWE is to run quarterly live specials on the WWE Network in 2016, as the company did with the Elimination Chamber event and the upcoming July 4th show airing live from Tokyo.

I like their specials and exclusive programs. Eventually I would love for them to do a documentary on the Smackdown six but I doubt that will happen since it would involve he whose name shall not be spoken.

If they took time to actually write a special for it, as opposed to cramming it into an episode of Raw - it could potentially be good.

It probably won't be. But it could be.
