all that property is the financial district and public parks.
property value going down for residential estates won't be an issue other than creating more of it.

a good chunk of Lower Manhattan is built on trash and didn't exist until a couple hundred years ago.
after the Great Fire in Chicago, they took all the debris, dumped it in the Lake Michigan and built a whole new hood on it.



if you mean build sky scrapers then i say no and fukk that.
i'd rather see underground expansion of domiciles.

They really need to build that subway that connects BK to SI, the tunnel is already there, it just needs to be finished.

Imagine the business that would come to Staten Island if that subway BK to SI is completed

I remember when I took the "Express" bus from BK to SI once. That shyt took damn near 3 hours . Only having a Ferry to SI is a travesty


Forget all the other infrastructure plans. A subway from BK to SI and a bridge from Manhattan to SI would really decrease ALOT of traffic and bring alot of business to SI
