I do see the appeal in Playboi Carti...he makes music for what the kids are into these days which are aesthetics, vibes, catchy adlibs + beats and simplicity but if you strip all that away from Carti...what is he?
And this coming from someone that throughly enjoyed Die Lit. The beats on this are cool but nothing I haven’t heard before and i feel like you can plug in any mumble/simplistic rapper and still get the same results.
The only producer he should work with is Pierre...and I’ll rather listen to Pierre’s music than Carti’s shyt His Life Of Pierre series are cool.
They even turned the comments off on his YouTube that’s streaming the album..That lets you know the reception haven’t been good lol

Both of Pierre’s last albums, including the deluxe version are vastly better than this. Without Pierre, Carti is basically the mediocre QB that had his All Pro offensive line taken away.
