I liked it tho

this album really does something to the soul bruh


it has soul in it because though it may not be the strongest lyric wise if you tune in to how somebody else might feel and just accept and feel the artist this shyt is very very dark and it grabs you
songs get stuck in your head easy as well, thats darkness

a black man made it should have soul regardless of how it sounds

"when i go to sleep i dream bout murder" though the track called no sleep, "ever since my brother died i been thinking bout homicide" thats trauma

thing about it is we want real artist right?


i mean shyt good players have played on bad teams, they didnt always get it right before they won and you dont always hit home runs
ultimately after a few listens this is a carried by and listenable for me because of the sound and the energy.

but its heavy so i had to take a few days from listening to so much of it

I hated Die Lit when it dropped. actually, I felt exactly how I feel about WLR now. knowing how much Die Lit grew on me and knowing how much I hated it at first, I'm not going to count this project out.


but I fukkin hate it at the moment lol. only played it through once and only added Rockstar Made. im positive that won't be my favorite song in a few months

I do see the appeal in Playboi Carti...he makes music for what the kids are into these days which are aesthetics, vibes, catchy adlibs + beats and simplicity but if you strip all that away from Carti...what is he?

And this coming from someone that throughly enjoyed Die Lit. The beats on this are cool but nothing I haven’t heard before and i feel like you can plug in any mumble/simplistic rapper and still get the same results.

The only producer he should work with is Pierre...and I’ll rather listen to Pierre’s music than Carti’s shyt His Life Of Pierre series are cool.

They even turned the comments off on his YouTube that’s streaming the album..That lets you know the reception haven’t been good lol
