It seems like its purely random what players (any sport) transition over into the coaching world. Typically not the superstars, always the average guy who guys out and does his job.

Any guys that could potentially have head coaching jobs in their futures?

I'm thinking:

Chauncey Billups
Dunleavy Jr
Luke Ridnour
Keith Bogans

My wild card sleeper future coach Robert Sacre

I kind of don't like the pro-athlete-to-pro-head-coach transition. Pro-athlete to scout, assistant GM, or assistant/specialty coach, I don't have a problem with. Like a goalie can become a goalie coach or a MLB player can become a hitting coach.
I believe that coaching is a skill that can be learned, but I feel a person needs to learn things under the mentorship of another coach and not just apply what an athlete sees from the viewpoint of one receiving the coaching.
