for example, Kerry Collins is ranked 16th in all-time passing yards. Kerry Collins...seems like dude had one good year on the Giants and the rest was just ok.

So out of hundreds or thousands, only 15 other QB's in the history of the NFL game have thrown for more yards than Kerry freakin Collins. That's kinda crazy.

Vinny Testaverde is 9th all-time. Them Cleveland Browns. :wow:

Adrian Beltre is 58 hits away from 3,000.

Dan Issel scored more points than Hakeem Olajuwon.

And while a lot of us think of Dennis Rodman was the king of rebounds, he's actually just 23rd all time. Kevin Garnett is 10th

(yes I'm aware these are all counting stats)

Jason Kidd 5th in 3 pointers.

Mark Jackson being 4th all-time in assists.

THESE ARE ALL LONGEVITY STATS.

Most impressive stats are.

Nobody cares about a 27 Ppg average over 6 games.

NONE OF THE STATS LISTED ARE PER GAME STATS.

AVERAGING 15 PTS A GAME FOR 20 SEASONS
GIVING YOU 24 THOUSAND POINTS ISNT IMPRESSIVE.

MOST OF THE GUYS LISTED IN THIS THREAD WERENT
ELITE IN THE AREAS POSTED.

THEY JUST PLAYED FOR A LONG TIME
AND ACCUMILATED STATS.

RODMAN PLAYED 911 GAMES
AND ONLY STARTED 573...
HE AVERAGED 17 REBOUNDS A GAME
OVER A 7 SEASON STRETCH.

KG WASNT ON HIS LEVEL.

the first two I didn't realize..:leon:....far as Dennis, he played a shorter time but for about 8-9 years he was untouchable.

I'm NOT one to criticize longevity, but Garnett having more rebs is not impressive because he played forever.
