None of these internet tv providers are optimal for live sports. But they will do.

I let vue when they lost the Viacom channels and kept the price the same. I'm on direct tv now and it's janky...Either way I'll never go back to cable....

Vue is pretty good for sports. All the needed channels are on the service. Great picture. Worth the money sports-wise

Yeah I tried Vue this past football season. It's a good deal in terms of cost vs. cable, but my issues with Vue are that the interface is not friendly and the picture quality is noticeably worse than cable, especially football. It's almost cartoonish in its appearance.

Maybe I'll give it another try this fall because I'm sick of paying out the nose for RedZone/NFL Network/sports channels and then basically never watching cable at any other point.

Let me hit you with this here. I'm an Xbox guy. Let me put you on what Xbox does for free. And fits in with "cord cutting" more

Built into every xbox one is the ESPN app and the NFL app. Any game on ESPN if you have ESPN will be on there.
If you don't have ESPN/cable then the replay will be on there about an hour after broadcast, fast forward/rewind all you like :tu:
The NFL app has whatever games are on NFL network, in HD, for free. All had playoff games and the superbowl

If you are into fantasy football, the xbox will keep track and give you live updates that overlay your TV screen while you watch football.. yes, its that deep and its been that deep since Nov 2013 when it came out.. nikkaz sleepin :francis:

Now, while all that is cool, this is where it really good. The web browser works fine for streaming, so if you use google and do a little sniffing around? You will find links to ESPN, TNT, ComcastSportsNetDC for my wiz games, Cartoon Network/etc. In HD
Then I save the page, then pin that page to my xbox homescreen/dashboard. Then I rename it and with only my voice I turn on my xbox, then I tell it to go to "Wizkids ya dig" and instantly it'll go to CSN Washington via the web browser, I then say "Hey Cortana, select... show full screen video" and viola. Free HDTV cable, whatever.

when ppl post links to pay per views here.. it works on the XB1 more times than not

There are sites that have every TV show or bootleg movie as well, in HD, just waiting for you to discover.
FInally, The Xbox ONe has an app called "Tv for Windows" which allows you to watch for free basic programming. So Fox, NBC, CBS, PBS, a few others. When I use it, the channels are based out of Pennsylvania so its free Eagles and Steeler games all season long on xbox one.

I pay $39.99 a month for cable btw :win: :hula: Or you can pay for PSvue and whatever you pay for internet and psPLUS which is mandatory for PSvue I believe...

VUE is great......can use your credentials to log in to any network app as well.

Plus if you connect to VUE mobile on your home wi-fi, then you will be able to watch when you aren't home

What you're referring to here seems like "cord cutting" on training wheels to me... from looking at the Vue plans online, to get the one with all those sports channels you need to pay $54.99 a month.

At that point why even bother? You can get a two-year cable/satellite contract for cheaper than that, especially in a bundle
