I mean I generally suck at pinball in general but this game seemed insane to me for a kid’s game. lol don’t think I ever even cleared that first level.

I’ve been revisiting old games and man! This one is still crazy to me.

lol yeah. had to make due with what we had.

only really made it to level 2 or 3 as a kid.

Granted I only invested about two separate Blockbuster rentals on it but even as the biggest old school Sonic stan as a kid, it became more a chore than fun to play/progress in.

I always got to like the 3rd level before dying/crashing out and it wasn’t something I wanted to start all over again

Spinball and Tails Adventure (Game Gear) were two of the most unique “not-Sonic” type Sonic games I ever played. But I actually enjoyed and bout Tails Adventure.

Y'all gotta remember that there is no "winning" in real pinball. You just get a high score. Couple that with games 30/40 years ago just being time sinks and quarter eaters and that's what Spinball was.
