@4d 6f 6e 65 79 yo I asked this in another thread but you didn't respond and I'm genuinely curious. Who set up this unity tour? If it was Bernie I could understand Dems being upset with his answers. If it was Dems that asked Bernie then I'd say that was dumb on their part.

Based on the snippet I heard, it sounds like Tom Perez is the one with the problematic language. The base doesn't want to hear that poll-tested, focus-grouped political gobbledygook.

The American people love the way Bernie speaks to us--that's why he's one of the very few politicians we actually trust. And if Bernie got the Democrat nomination, he'd be in the White House today.

If Bernie is not a committed Democrat he shouldn't have organized a Democratic unity tour.

Sorta, they were basically saying he speaks like he speaks to his peers who tend to be highly educated older adults and as a result his message was lost despite saying the same things due to word choice.
