1. Because it's a serious movie whereas Baby Boy is high key a comedy.
2. I don't think Janet Jackson has EVER looked better than she did in Poetic Justice.

Only thing memorable about poetic justice is Janet's braids and Pac yelling "cousin"
Besides them 2, I don't even remember who else was in that movie
Like it or hate it, Baby boy was way more memorable
Even tho the 1st time I saw it, I was disgusted by Jody and the concept of making a movie about a grown man that didn't wanna move out his mama's house and get a job
But there's so many memorable moments. Sweet pea and the "you got heart" part
The guns and butter speech
Snoop knocking over lil man's fort
Jody getting beat down and choked out by Melvin
Ole girl at Yvette job
I mean, it's just a memorable movie
Then when BET remixed it for the culture
Ain't nobody tryna be yo daddy lil brotha

to me but I picked Baby Boy 
simply because it has more reply value plus it is a slightly better movie than Poetic Justice.
Poetic Justice has a lot of cringe worthy moments & Janet can't act and that's one of Pac's worst movie (other being Bullet).

- Janet crying while Stevie Wonder’s I Never Dreamed You’ld Leave in’s Summer although I can’t mention that without mentioning Marvin’s Just To Keep You Satisfied in Baby Boy

Baby boy because it’s better and more relevant. It’s funny and you can rewatch it. I saw Poetic Justice a long time ago and have no desire to rewatch it even now.
