100% agreed. It's a shytty loophole though. The argument is that they have to be able to pay for the site in order to help get the information out to the public (But surely those sites who profit from mugshots and video cams should be somewhat policed, right?
This ain't TMZ getting the footage themselves, surely taking it from mugshots.com shouldn't cost anything and be done rather quickly, that's really shady IMO.
Body cams should be a requirement no doubt, but I shouldn't be able to create a web page full of mugshots & cams, then run ads off of it for my own benefit, then charge to have the shyt removed??
) which is a BS argument if you ask me, but it is what it is. Again i'd rather police with cams to prevent fuked up police vs. police without cams to protect dikheads from making fools of themselves. In a perfect world though, a site should not be able to make money on that shyt either.
