If you are in a domestic violence situation tell your children to leave. They don’t make good witnesses anyway and it is unfair to put them in that position.

Tell them to go outside and stay outside. They are safer away from the altercation anyway.

They shouldn’t witness you being hit, punched, etc.

Having said that, she called the police to help her so she should have let them help her. She went TOWARD her abuser after opening the door. Like she was still angry at him and wanted to get her licks in. Stop calling the cops for help if you just want backup while you whoop someone’s ass. I would have been out that door I’m not staying in a locked apartment with a crazy nikka.
