Sources confirm the Rochester police officer that was shot earlier tonight has died.

Rural Metro reported to a shooting in the area of Hudson Avenue and Warsaw Street around 9:30 tonight.

We’re told at least three people were shot including a Rochester police officer who we’re told has died. Rural Metro confirms that two other people were transported to Strong Memorial Hospital.

We’ll continue to bring you updates as we get them.

A few years back there was a cop that got shot a couple blocks away from my apartment. I didnt give a shyt, I was only pissed that they blocked off the entire broad street and ogantz avwnue, blocking me from going to my parents to pick up some things for the trip. We are civilized people, we shouldn't rejoice in the murder of a cop. What if he is a black cop though? His name or picture hasn't been released. Even if he is white and I tend to not agree with the thought process of whites in general, I don't wish death on them.
