It's human history. Some estimates run as high as 80 million, with the Russians alone losing 27 million roughly. That was with a world population of 2.3 billion. The world is far more densely populated now at over 7 billion I think. It's what being exposed to money and influence for long stretches of time do to people. That and a desire for revenge.
