Poland has been going in a scary direction for a couple years. I think there's an open conflict with the EU on democracy issues in general right now, something to do with the gvt becoming more and more authoritarian. A shame when you consider that Solidarnosc was at the forefront of liberating central and european countries of communism.

Absolutely not. The Poles I've variously have a subliminal anti-black tenor to their views and speech. Even in their games, the Witcher, there are subtle anti-black references to servitude and black people. I remember seeing the only reference to blacks in the Witcher and the reference was a picture of a chained mutant or monster which had vaguely black dress and appearance. When the Polish developers were asked about lack of diversity, they became enraged.
