POLL: If you were terminally ill and were given 12 months left to live...

A made up scenario :


If your doctor diagnosed you as terminally ill and gave you roughly 12 months but..

with a 15% chance of recovery if you go to a treatment center, which would cost 60k in medical bills..

how would you go about it ?
do you have that money ?
would you leave that debt on your loved ones ?

or just live your last 12 months to the fullest ?

However if I had to pick one or the other I would just live out my life as best as possible. Secondly I'd like the option of assisted suicide if possible. Not going to spend my remaining time miserable and in constant pain. Just fukking kill me. Otherwise I'll just make a bloody mess with a bullet in the brain.

I think they just use morphine for the pain, but that would probably lessen your time left

I'd rather not suffer. I'd like to stick around but in the realness I'd rather everyone see me leave this earth happy instead of trying to hold on. It'll be the best year of my life though real spit and famll be broke off from life insurance.

It's scary to be brave enough to live a life you want, but to do anything else is literally spiritual suicide.

Well that's my point. At some point I wouldn't want to deal with that. It's just palliative support at that point and quality of life is down the shytter. That's why I think assisted suicide is something we should legalized. yeah you get morphine but at the same time you're out of it due to the morphine. It's like what is the point.
