He won 70% of the vote in his Senate race in Vermont which was only 3.5 years ago in Vermont. He's popular there across party lines. He can win another term in 2018 if he so chooses.

Bernie becomes a much more prominent Senator after this race and he's framed the conversation and pushed Hilary to the left. He's run a successful campaign based on where he was at back in August.
