Luka and Eubanks are both young:yeshrug:

Thats why i said we might as well stealth tank if we don't get Collins. This FA class isn't good enough to justify blowing the cap space on. Might as well let the young guys run.

Well the good news is that if we are playing Luka and Eubanks a lot of minutes it won't be anything stealthy about the tank :pachaha:

I'm still holding out hope we can somehow get Wiseman when the warriors toss him in the bushes before his rookie contract is up :mjcry:

Keepin it 100, Pop offense not outdated, we just don’t have the low post presence offensively we need. Well it may be outdated in the sense we aren’t reliant on the 3ball, but being able to operate out the post is what Pop love to do and we can’t do that. If we were able to do that, we’d be fine

His system is too slow in 2021 and it doesn’t take advantage of the awesome athleticism these young Spurs have.

I don’t doubt that with the right front court presence Popovich could win more consistently. I just think even if he could win that way, it would require so much effort and the margin for error would be razor thin.

Just my guess tho.

The 2014 championship offense is what spurs fans all want....but we don't have the pieces for it:mjcry:

For all the hand ringing we are doing this team was on the way to the playoffs last year before covid killed our season and that was with LMA playing the worst basketball of his career, then retiring, and us replacing him with pretty much nothing...

I feel like if we can get a stretch 4 and white can stay healthy then we will be ok...and like you said earlier Luka might already be that stretch 4 we need.

I also hope we let Lonnie settle into his natural role as the go to scorer off the bench and NOT whatever defensive stopper Pop was trying to make him. That shyt didn't work at all.

It will be so long before Primo even plays that by the time he does we going to be like "who is this dude and when did we draft him?":mjlol:

I'm a huge fan of Lonnie's athleticism but we can't ignore his inconsistent shooting.
I think he can play better. But Popovich didn't do him any favors by having him in different roles throughout the season.
