Willingly avoid objectively great TV series for no apparent reason, brehs.

Just not enough time in life to watch all these shyts. That's my biggest reason. And when I do have time I may also be tired and most of these shows require mental energy to watch. By that time I might just want to watch some easily consumable generic shyt.![]()
Just because someone else says a show is great doesn't mean I'm going to watch it. Italian Mafia shyt doesn't really interest me much so why spend time watching a show about subject matter that I'm not interested in.I get that but these lists are all over the place...."Will & Grace" then "The Sopranos".

For me it's a lot of things mainly subject matter. I'm not the type to be like "I'm cool because I've never seen such and such show." I've never seen a episode of Game of Thrones not because I'm trying to be different it's because medieval subject matter doesn't interest me.It's not about "Sopranos" in particular....quality wise most of the shows listed aren't even in the same ball park....if someone said "yeah, I'm not checking for 'Heroes' or 'The Wire'"....what's the logic there? This isn't directed at this thread in particular but I see this kind of stuff on social media, where people will say"am I the only person that never watched 'Game Of Thrones' (or 'Breaking Bad' or whatever)....it's like....do people want a cookie for avoiding something that's popular?
If you aren't interested in the subject matter that's a different story but if you list 20 different shows....completely different....various genres....varying degrees of quality....I'm not seeing the upside to not checking out at least a few of them.
