Ported or sealed subwoofer box?

Just wondering whether I should go sealed or ported for my sub.

Obviously I listen to a lot of hip hop, which most people say sounds better ported. But I don't want other genres to sound like shyt.

I was thinking of tuning low to around 30Hz to keep sound quality.

If you have heard both ported and sealed state your opinions.

Sealed if you want a tighter sound. If you're listening to hip hop then def go ported
