I'm 37 and began paying attention to basketball on my own around that pistons back to back era. Prior to that it'd be the Lakers vs. Celtics that the grown ups were going crazy over.

That said. I'm not sure I ever saw Ralph Sampson play a single game. Wasn't he like a semi bust? Injuries or some shyt? I know they had him and dream and that was a thang for a minute.

They wouldn't have drafted MJ if they already had Clyde though. Barkley though?

:ohhh:

Didn't those 3 all eventually end up together during the flabby & sick era or had dream been dealt to Toronto by then?

A bust is someone whose talent doesn't meet expectations on the next level.....Ralph talent was off the charts, but injuries did him in.....simple as that.....

Clyde had some of the best squads in NBA history, and the Lakeshow still gave them that work. time and time again......
