At one point this show used to get 30 million viewers an episode (media is used to indoctrinate) The entire arc of this season was about Alfre Woodard's single mother character trying to cover up the murder committed by her white-woman obsessed son. She also had another son locked in her basement who was mentally slow and had a propensity to rape white women (not making this up) Underneath the surface the message they were sending was don't let your daughters near black men because they're all dangerous and rapists. Oprah used to BEG the creator (a white supremacist gay male) of this show to write more black people into the script. Vanessa Williams joined the cast in the final season and she played a self loathing bedwench.
