I’ve never known talent personally.

Must feel amazing to be really good at something.

I saw a guy making pizzas on the street throw some dough he kneaded about 30 feet in the air and it came back to him like a boomerang. It was impressive, but aint no way I'm eating that pizza after that.

Your limits are whatever you set them to beTyson never planned on boxing. It ain't like Mike had a choice about singing and dancing as he was barely out of diapers and already two stepping as he belted out performances that would make vets jealous. The educational system makes learning so unappealing (on purpose) and if you're from less then its even more boring due to the lack of resources.
Focus and dedication are nigh on impossible these days and the talent we create reflects this because no one is going to spend 16 hours throwing a combo, practicing a step or peering inside their awareness when there is a whole world wide web dedicated to flexing. Thats just by the by though because the main point is there are "seasons" of man in that sense and we're upgraded or dumbed down as per the requirements of the level but that doesn't mean that is all of which we're capable...
are you sure they were greater?I truly believe that we are the dumbed down version of man (hence mankind) in contrast to what we can potentially be. Either thats the point of this level of the Game because the flesh we use to interface with this realm is capable of far more than we give credit and immensely more than we are instructed.
All the world is filled with myths and legends of those who came before and were far greater, for example, plus it just feels so probable. That and the rest makes its obvious where we're headed.
