to the dude who needs to start his SEO stuff, and really to any other business folks in here:

you want each page on your site to be focused on something, and you want to have keywords on that page that are the kinds of words shoppers are google searching with

use google's keyword planner and search for relevant terms in your industry and location
look for the phrases with lots of traffic, but also has some specificity to it. pick 3-5 of those phrases for each page
write some content using those phrases, prioritize the phrases so you use your best phrase the most times in the copy, and your lowest phrase the least...
put these phrases in your metadata as well
dont abuse these phrases, just write naturally and use a variation of those phrases sometimes
make sure you also get some videos and pictures and use keyword phrases for their meta data tags as well
keep the site updated at least monthly. you can add a blog page to the site and post advice or something

most small businesses dont know to do this, so you will start ranking well with just this. if your industry is competitive, then you will need to go beyond this, that will take linkbuilding, but that's something you should hire an SEO firm for

Never underestimate the power of a Facebook page as well my man. You let your customers know about it and they can post testimonials of your work for all to see. It adds another avenue of advertise my for free and you can even do cool Facebook specials.
