I don't know if he ain't shyt or not. I don't talk to him these days, even though I kind of want to just so he knows I didn't go wayward.

But I guess he must not be shyt if my number one goal in life is to be the dad he never was.

No hard feelings to him though.

as a kid i only had like 10 members in my family that i could call family..and that was on my latin side..my black family wasnt around and my mom..her mom..and her two brothers left south america in the late 60s and havent talked to their south american familes since..i dont know my black side or my south american side..it was only a few of us in the bay area..now with kids and wives i can only say its like 17 of us

When the nikka act like he is going to visit me and my siblings, only to be disappointed when he didn't keep words. Then my family and I go through months without seeing him.

I realized my dad wasn't shyt when he took my sister clothes shopping on my birthday.

I was born on leap day. Birthdays are fukkin rare.

later that year the nikka took me school clothes shopping and bought himself a fish tank. I was rocking the bootleg forces out the barber shop first day of school.

To top it all off, once I had a job and was buying my own clothes, games, summer school, etc, this nikka tried to make up for it by putting a bunch of shyt on his new credit card. I straight laughed in his face. The look on his face when I said I didn't need his money was priceless.

We cool now cuz the nikka got cancer and is dying and shyt. He fukking deserves it, too. imo. This^ aint even the tip of the iceberg.
