Posting on the same forum as your son/daughter

Some people say that there is a cut-off point for posting on music forums like the-coli, boxden, allhiphop, etc. I was born in 89, but I've seen posters get chastised all over the web for being 30 plus on rap forums. Others say that age don't matter. What would you do if your son/daughter started posting on the same music forum/site as you?

Would you be officially Larry Holmes status and hang it up, or embrace their membership?

I'm 26 but honestly idgaf how old a poster is. I post(mainly lurk)on a 49ers msg board on occasion and some of the best posters there are 50+. Only hiphop puts an expiration date on fans and artists

My dad and I have posted on some political message boards before and he has no problem calling me up and telling me to go comment on his post or tell someone off. It's a fun bonding experience and it helps him stay young and hip.
