Did a couple sys admin interviews internally and both turned into 3-interview affairs that I had to set aside workday time for didnt get either so I was a pillar of salt going through all that just to lose out twice for INTERNAL positions.

I make them split it over multiple days and do it during my lunch breaks on my own time. Most don't like it, but do you want me to interview for the job or not. I'm doing you the favor by taking time off from work to interview.

I remember not too long ago this job literally tried to schedule a 4 hour block of meetings and Excel test on a Monday knowing I had to work

I don’t do test. I tell them straight up. If I’m doing test or assignments, I need to be paid. In addition, no more than 2 interviews.

Not quite the same, but just as frustrating re: interviews: Recently, I had THREE interviews with a major corporation - the last one being on August 14th - and these scumbags haven't reached out since. Like, at least have the professional courtesy to inform me via an email that takes 30 seconds to go kick rocks. WTF
