Did exactly this back when, even before Mase said it.

That scent cut through the club (and the cigarettes) and had the women choosing with a quickness if you looked slick because most people didn't have a clue what it was or where to get it. Smelled totally different to anything else on the market in 94.

Man, smoking in the club feels like a relic of a bygone era now, doesn't it?
Word well I was in the single digit age at that time lol when Mase said it. So I don’t know either way I just remember a bunch of rappers always sayin somethin about that cologne.

It literally came through and crushed the buildings. Nothing, and I mean nothing, smelled like it back in 94. Not to mention the immense performance as it just made the girls turn their heads to sniff with the "What the heck is this?" look on their dish. The rest just falls in as it was a great garnish on an already immaculate presentation back then.

The smell flipped the script from the old hits as it was the first aquatic/fresh. Sheer genius in terms of creativity so respect the work he put in and the influence this brings.

Bout to buy up some Issey pieces on Grailed before the inevitable surge.
Dude was a true visionary when it came to fashion, a brilliant mind, and yes, that cologne was damn good (got me mad love from the ladies too)
Rest in Power Issey...you will be missed.
