A lake near Tampa FL
Despite this, I still wanna ride on an airplane someday :wow: Had to take Amtrak from NYC to FL and man that was an miserable experience and I love trains :hubie:

Someone on the Amtrak sub Reddit wanted a cross country HSR express train from NYC to LA and even posters in that sub was like, dude we already have that, there called airplanes breh :skip:

Also it feels like the various U.S based airlines are safer than the ones in other countries. When the last time a passgener plane crashed in the U.S, AA flight 587 in 2001?

Overseas airline safety seems like a crap shoot.

Wow, human error was the cause

Final report

[edit]
On 28 December 2023, the final report was released. It reiterated the preliminary findings that the accidental change of position of both condition levers to the feathered position resulted in the loss of thrust, leading to the aerodynamic stall and crash. Some other contributing factors are also found, mostly human errors due to a high workload, lack of appropriate technical and skill-based training, ineffective crew resource management (CRM), lack of sterile cockpit discipline, and the non-compliance with standard operating procedures (SOP).[1][48]
