No it would not haha. I was there for that Beans and Jada shyt, that was epic man. A huge fight broke out, like 10 rows started collapsing in on each other no one even knew Beans was gona be there, then you just hear someone screaming knock that shyt the fukk off man and everyone realizes it's Beans the fight stops, place goes silent and he goes acapella and rips Jada shortly after Jada tried to diss Beans but got booed off stage while people were throwing drinks and bottles and shyt at him. Nothing Drake or Meek could do could even come close to approaching that.

REAL HIP HOP shyt

REAL HIP HOP shyt

Man they used to make these dudes battle for deals, and not just like the Freeway Cassidy shyt. My boy's tight with Young Chris and he told me when they were trying to get a deal they went to Bad Boy and The Roc and Puff and Jay would have these dudes battling other rappers before they'd give them a deal and then even after they signed they'd have them battling in the studio on the regular. Steel sharpen steel mentality. The game was so much different back then, and these young bucks wonder why a lot of old heads and just fans of that era complain about hip-hop today. It ain't even all about the music, it's about the feel, shyt was so much more organic back then man, dudes were hungry. Granted when someone blew up back then they'd get the machine behind them and become a manufactured pop artist, but they didn't have the machine just switched on like a fukking assembly line just trying to push out a clone of whatever else is hot.
