When parents dont care about the childs future, neither does the child.

Even legit mafia bosses have degrees these days.

Its so demonic, friends.

Are you their manager or something? :smugfavre:
1. How could I manage a defunct group.

2. I was answering the OP's question. These two were the closest to being a positive, mainstream influence for black girls. I'd rather have young girls listening to them than twerking to Rihanna:weirdo:

People complain about the lack of Black celebs today who put out a positive image for young black males as opposed to what we had in years past, and I agree with that to a point.....seems we had a better mixture in the past with more positive role models, positive TV characters, etc

But younger black women nowadays have even less to pull to from, and many (who grow up fatherless or with irresponsible fathers) are learning about relationships, MARRIAGE, male/female dynamics from women like these :merchant:

Add that to the Instagram culture that inherently teaches a bad message and all you can do is :snoop: :wow: at where things appear to be heading

Who talks about the lack of black male celeb role models?

Celebrities are suppose to entertain not db role models

I was waiting for you :beli: because I knew you'd say some mess like this.

Every celebrity of every race is an influence on some sect of society. It's just the way it goes and there's no shirking the responsibility in that regard.

It just so happens that in the 80s-90's when we had positive black TV shows(black shows period), singers, positive rappers to balance out the gangsta rappers, etc., the youth had more to look up to/aspire to.

You're not gonna tell me when you see kids dressing like rappers and getting tattoos like rappers that tehy dont influence the youth.

This is why you have to raise your children... don't just leave them all unsupervised in front of the tv. That's like letting the media raise your child. There was a stat that claimed that black children watch way more tv than their counterparts.

A lot of kids only role models are the ones they see on tv....and now online.

There's only so much that people can dictate to artists and entertainers :yeshrug:
