Please keep insults and jokes out of this one.

Just wondering if you ladies and men here still pray.
I'm in my early 30s and I'm starting to feel like prayer has been ineffective the past year or so.

Ive overcome a HUGE health crisis and a HUGE legal battle before and I think prayer was instrumental in helping me be able to maintain and push thru those situations.

But when it comes to career things and various opportunities in life Im starting to realize I really haven't been given a fair shot at having these things.

Just wondering has anyone here encountered a wall in life when it seems as if your prayers go completely unanswered.

I think prayer was instrumental in helping me be able to maintain and push thru those situations.

That's all it's really good for. We are all pretty much alone in our struggles. Sometimes, cats just want to feel as if there's something there guiding or providing support. If something doesn't work out, folks can take solace in the fact that some divine power has something better in store, etc. Or that many people struggle in life for a "reason" and will get their due reward in the after life. Otherwise, who knows how the world would look.
