Yeah I don't think Microsoft can get away with 3 years.

I think $199 is too low based on the fact that they are probably going to take a loss at launch. I went with a $100 off deal as that is what they have been doing with the XBOX 360 and been testing the waters behind the scenes.

I think Microsoft is considering raising the price of xbox live anyway and I think they do $15 a month for the 2 year commitment on the xbox 360 right now.
