#predictable sitcom plots

Let's have some fun:

ITT we will list a plot for a sitcom episode that it seems every sitcom has to do at some point.

We'll do one per post to see how many there are. Here we go...


- somebody from high school comes back to town and they're physically different now.
i.e.: person was fat/now they're beautiful, or person was a geek/now they're ripped.

-2 roomates have a disagreement about personal possessions which leads to them splitting their living area in half. most times painting a line right down the middle of the room

Students get back test results and the normally lesser student gets a higher grade than the A student, causing jealousy.

-2 characters share the same crush. The two characters make a bet about the crush. The nicer of the two ends up with the crush. Just when things are going smooth, the crush finds out about the bet.

 

[My Girl is Bow Legged]

Main character gets date with very attractive person under false pretenses and struggles to keep up the lie with zany results and ultimately fails right before sex

Lead characters former grade school friend is back in town and she has GROWN

There's a big test coming up in the next couple days and lead character doesn't think he/she is going to do well, he/she is panicking and then they are presented with an option

-Character meets a cousin, usually from the country, that looks just like them and pulls some fukkery while they're not around.

A relative or a friend comes to visit and annoys everyone

2 people, one popular and one not, switch places for the day.

A episode were somebody claims to be a characters long lost kid

The episode where they go to Vegas

 

[Mr Rager]

A character has 2 dates on the same night and must switch back and forth betwixt the two

The episode where they go to Vegas

- the episode where they go to Hawaii

 

[Ain't That Something]

2 or 3 characters with one being the antagonist get stuck in a closet, or elevator, or something where they hash out their differences

 

[threattonature]

One of the characters has a friend/family member from the wrong side of town who is trying to steer them to the dark side and turning them against their friends. At the last minute the main character realizes this person does not have their best interests in mind and make up with their friends.
