I believe it's possible at least in west africa that west africa countries can be a federation including adding Chad and Cameroon. But that will take egos and puppets to put aside.
ECOWAS is overwhelmingly sponsored by other ECOWAS countries with Nigeria footing most of it's bill.
ECOWAS is the second fasted growing region in the world after Eaf, economically.
and it will be that way and even more as more infrastructure is being built for easy access for trade.
Why would I want my country to leave that in the future and join countries that are insecure?
Aes needs to get their security handled before any country will think about joining them.
Plus, they are not even projected to grow the same rate economically as ECOWAS in the future. Even aNigerian is getting its shyt together for manufacturing in the future. There is nothing the aes has that other ECOWAS countries haven't already done. Guinea could possibly be seeing double digit growth for at least 20 years with this Simandou project.
