President Macri also just removed capital controls devaluing the peso (boosting exports and incoming foreign currency), pushing for elimination of income taxes, and removing taxes on exports of agricultural items.

Looks to me more money for the 1% coming there too :sas2:

I read last week an Argentinian ship sank an illegal Chinese fishing vessel off it's coast.

Argentina is reorienting itself to the West

Macri is a neo-liberal guy with the backing of his friends in NYC and private investors

Argentina is gonna have a lot of money coming into it... but will it benefit people? Doubt it.

Yeah, most likely but it was that way before from the documentaries I watched. Granted then it was the Kirchner people who were solely benefiting.

If they can get a lot of internal investment going I think Argentina can be a really successful country again.
